Andrea Clapp, LPC-MHSP

With over 20  years of experience in a counseling setting, Andrea is both skilled and knowledgeable in creating a space for change in individuals. Andrea obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from The University of North Carolina Asheville where she also played basketball on a scholarship.  Due to her unique collegiate experience as a student athlete she is passionate in helping other student athletes navigate through this journey.  Andrea obtained her Masters Degree through Lincoln Memorial University in Counseling.  She worked for Youth Villages in the Specialized Crisis Program for 10 years.  This is where Andrea developed a strong passion for working with families and individuals in creating changes in behaviors and negative thought patterns and cycles.  Andrea began working in a private practice setting in 2017 and spent her first Life Connections Counseling, PLLC in Knoxville. Andrea became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2019 and founded Rayne Counseling, LLC.  Andrea is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor with the Mental Health Service Provider designation in the state of Tennessee.

Andrea strives to build a unique rapport with each of her clients.  This rapport allows her client’s a comfortable and safe place to open up honestly and identify with their true self; and in doing this they are able to develop a self awareness that allows them to make desired changes.  Andrea is able to help each of her client’s identify individual needs and create unique plans that promote change.  She is passionate about building relationships with her client’s and helping them to achieve the level of functioning they desire.  Andrea has experience working with a wide variety of populations, but especially enjoys working with kids, teens, and young adults.  She uses a solution-focused, patient centered approach while using CBT, DBT, and expressive art and play therapy techniques.

 

Georgana Jackson, LCSW

Georgana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience providing compassionate, caring, and client-centered mental health care.  Specializing in anxiety, family dynamics, parental struggles, and life changing events, Georgana offers a collaborative and solution-focused therapy, tailoring strategies and interventions to each individual’s unique needs.

With a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Georgana helps clients develop healthier coping skills, improved emotional regulation, and navigate life’s changes and challenges with confidence. Georgana is committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, set personal and meaningful goals, and experience emotional healing and growth.

Georgana holds a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee and became licensed in 2007.  Georgana has worked with a wide variety of populations, but has a passion for adolescents and adults.  She uses a solution-focused, patient centered approach using CBT techniques sprinkled with some play therapy as needed.

Georgana is passionate about empowering clients to find their true self and striving to find a balanced and fulfilled life.  She believes everyone has the potential to heal and grow with the desire to do so and the right supports in place.
